Our National Beehive is manufactured from premium Irish Douglas Fir, a timber valued for its natural strength, weather resistance, and distinctive reddish colour. This durable material ensures your hive remains resilient in all conditions while maintaining an attractive appearance.

The gabled roof provides both functionality and style. Its raised design offers ample internal space, making it easy to place feeders when required, while also enhancing water runoff to protect the hive.

A stainless-steel mesh floor with a removable insert is included to support effective ventilation management and assist in monitoring varroa mite infestations.

For long-lasting performance, the hive is assembled using stainless steel screws, ensuring a secure and weather-resistant construction.
